Iluma gives each seller a managed Discord Vouch Bot connected to their Iluma account. The bot collects customer vouches, posts reputation embeds and connects those reviews to the seller's public Iluma profile.

This documentation is only for seller managed bots on the Normal and Premium plans. It does not document Iluma's internal administrator panel.

# Bot Setup

Discord Bot Connection

Create a Discord application in the Discord Developer Portal, open the Bot section and use its bot token when connecting the managed bot from the Iluma Dashboard.

Never share your bot token. If the token becomes public, reset it immediately from the Discord Developer Portal and update it in Iluma.

Server Configuration

SettingWhat it does
Customer Role ID Only users with this role can submit a vouch.
Vouch Channel ID The channel where the public vouch embed is posted.
Command Prefix Optional text prefix such as !, ? or #.

# Discord Intents

Open: Discord Developer Portal → Application → Bot → Privileged Gateway Intents

SERVER MEMBERS INTENT → Required
MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT → Required only when text prefix commands are enabled

If you only use slash commands, Message Content Intent is not required.

# Optional Command Prefix

Sellers can enable a classic text prefix from the Dashboard. Slash commands stay enabled at the same time.

Prefix: !

/vouch still works
/profile still works

!vouch also works
!profile also works
!vouches also works

Supported prefixes include !, ?, #, ., $, %, &, +, -, =, ~ and >.

Select Disabled in the Dashboard to turn text-prefix commands off. Slash commands will continue to work.

# Vouch System

Vouch Numbers are separate for every managed bot. Each seller starts from number 1 and continues upward.

Seller A:
Vouch N°: 1
Vouch N°: 2
Vouch N°: 3

Seller B:
Vouch N°: 1
Vouch N°: 2

Public display:

Discord embed → 🔢 Vouch N°: 1
Website → Vouch Number: 1

Customers can leave a rating, a reason and optional proof. Proof can be used later if Iluma selects the vouch for verification.

# Anti-Fake & Vouch Verification

Normal vouches do not need manual approval. Iluma can send suspicious or selected vouches to verification.

Suspicious signals may include very new Discord accounts, recent server joins, unusual vouch volume, many sellers in a short period or highly similar review text.

Sellers cannot approve their own verification cases. The final verification decision belongs only to Iluma administrators.

# Premium Bot Customization

Premium sellers can customize how their managed bot appears.

Online Status:

Premium also includes supported managed-bot appearance settings and seller backup / restore functionality.

# Troubleshooting

Bot shows PrivilegedIntentsRequired

Enable SERVER MEMBERS INTENT. If a text command prefix is enabled, also enable MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT.

Prefix commands do not work

Check that a prefix is selected in the Dashboard and that Message Content Intent is enabled for that bot.

Slash commands do not appear

Restart the managed bot from the Iluma Dashboard and make sure the bot was invited with application command permissions.

Bot is offline

Check the managed bot status in the Dashboard. Invalid bot tokens or missing privileged intents can prevent the bot from connecting.

A vouch is missing from the public profile

A vouch selected for verification does not count publicly until it is approved by an Iluma administrator.
